What data we collect
Automatically collected data
When you visit SeniorTechChoice.com, web server logs and analytics tools may automatically collect your anonymized IP address, pages visited, browser and device type, referring website, and general geographic location (country/region level only).
AI tool queries
When you use our Research, Compare, or Product Support tools, the text you enter is transmitted to the Anthropic API to generate a response. We also log anonymized usage metadata, such as the product searched, tool used, and whether a result was returned, to our own database for service monitoring and improvement. We recommend not entering personal information (such as your name, address, or medical details) into our tools.
Contact form submissions
If you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. Used only to respond to your inquiry, not added to any marketing lists or shared with third parties.
Cookies
- Analytics cookies — anonymized, aggregate site traffic data.
- Affiliate tracking cookies — set by the retailer (not us) when you click an affiliate link. Governed by the retailer's own policy.
- Functional cookies — remember preferences. Contain no personal data.

Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months then deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregate, anonymized form. We do not retain AI tool queries.

SeniorTechChoice.com is designed for adults 50+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
